The knit verse, purl verse, casting off verse, and so on are not all that hard to find and they're certainly not the reason to buy this book. You can Google this and find plenty of examples for free. Unfortunately my grandchildren are past this age but the animals are cute fast and fun to knit for little gifts, for either children or adults.
