A Potluck, with too many authors and not enough luck ! Alas, this book appears to have been rushed to print to fix what is wrong with the failure of the Dayton-Burns book to explain much of the meaning of parks. Instead, it lacks a strong clear view because it is composed of too many different authors of widely varying ability. The idea of a book that explored the true meaning of parks is a great idea, and the 2 or 3 lead authors -- or even better, ONE of them -- should have had the strength of will and the. Great book!
