So when the offer of a job at the infamous gothic nightclub Afterlife comes along she thinks that lady luck has finally found her. All at once she is captivated and plunged into a world she never knew existed, but the deeper her obsession with Draven becomes, the harder it is to decide…should she stay and continue to work within the shadows of the supernatural or should she run from a madness she thinks may consume her? vvd said Interesting plot, but extremely amateurish and quite obviously self-published. (and unedited.). This book had an interesting story-line. Unfortunately, it was completely overshadowed by the lack of editing and the mind-numbing amount of grammatical errors. In addition to the gross misspellings and grammatical errors, there was an utter lack of research or consistency. American characters would lapse back and forth between American slang and British slang; every time a Kazzy would use an American colloquialism, she would say "As they say here". even if it was part of her (incessant and never-ending) internal dialogue; Drave. Snez said Not bad. So, my first thought was - "damn this book has over Not bad Snez So, my first thought was - "damn this book has over 400 pages and omg 7 series? this better be good." I did enjoy how author was detailed about each character, the lives they lead and etc. Story line is pretty goodHonestly, i am enjoying reading the books but i have one thing (or maybe more) to add: I HATE CAPITALIZATION! Please, if the character is surprised or yelling or whatever the emotion is please dont capitalize it. Another thing (see i do have more to add), why on Earth are characters speaking multiple foreign languages. 00 pages and omg 7 series? this better be good." Terrible, Unedited, Childish Writing Skills I got all the books of this author for free through Amazon's Kindle unlimited. I didn't buy them, thank God. I would advise all readers to use caution if you are buying. At first, I thought I was going to be reading great books, but I was wrong. Hudson's lack of writing and editing skills/experience is quite unnerving even bordering on childish. Also, the way she writes the dialogue and interactions of her characters in the books leads me to believe she took her writing skills from E.L. James, another terrible writer.
