"What in the world is going on here" according to Esmeralda Sanchez. The first book, A Voice In The Wind was amazing. I could not put that book down. This one however let me down. I was annoyed with how slow it started, and all the thinking Marcus did. I didn't understand also why they had to make poor Hadassah so ugly. T. "As Good as the First!" according to Monty Rainey. It is a rare find when a sequel is as good as the original, but Francine Rivers has succeeded admirably with her second installment of this trilogy in AN ECHO IN THE DARK.
