It is very comprehensive in detail but is most useful in conjunction with a book detailing the specifics of these disease.Highly recommended. A perfect companion to a textbook of tropical medicine. Highly recommended. The resolution of the pictures on the CD-ROM are, however, a bit too low to enjopy fully for my eyes. The book is recommen. The authors have gone to great effort to include the range of issues related to these diseases and their choice of images provides a good way for visual learning about a condition, eg. This is a work of high scholarship and an indispensable source of information. The book is structured on the basis of the mechanism of transmission of the disease, a practical and sensible way which should make it easier for someone coming to tropical medicine to learn the range of conditions.
