barefoot and in the kitchen Thomas L. Rowe An amazing cookbook. If you don't know anything about Vegan cooking, this is the book for you! Ashley starts with how she became a Vegan. Then goes into the science of cooking. Yes there is science in cooking! Then she gives you an ingredients primer, great idea if you are new to Vegan cooking. Explanations of ingreients like Seitan, Tofu, Quinoa, etc. Very,very helpful, especially for someone new to Vegan cooking. Equally great for experienced cooks. Then the really delicious recipies!Ashley also wrote . "Simple recipes that rock!" according to cupcake girl. Don't be put off by the size of this book, it's quite small, only 96 pages, less than 100 recipes and no pictures of the food. That's normally a deal breaker for me ( I hate cookbooks that do this, why?) however, this book was so funny and charming, I could totally overlook that this time. The recipes are simple and easy to prepare mostly, some take a little more time and effort such as the 'Who Cares Award winning Mac and Cheese' with 2 sauces. There are no chapters or sections, the recipes aren't in an. Four Stars sophia sustaita took me months to get this but I love her cookbooks! Nice vegan options that are easy to make!
