the writing is very fine, and the references to Providence are delightful for W. H. Pugmire, Esq. This trade pd edition is a vast improvement on the hardcover first edition in that it has corrected the many typographical errors of that initial edition (I think Ms. Kiernan's story had 16 misprints originally). The good stories were really, really good. The bad stories were an exact replica in reverse. Thankfully, the good ones held the majority. Thanks.
