It was just the kind of thriller that I love, with lots of unexpected turns. Great story but, sadly, not great writing It was really hard to stick with this book as the convoluted writing style made it hard to follow. The concept itself is a tough one to grapple with, and it is made even harder by to the poor writing style. On numerous occasions I had to read sentences a number of times to finally make sense of them, as they were too long and contained extraneous words. This is the first time that I have seen the personal pronoun 'he' being used to refer to three different people in the same sentence. Try and get your brain around that!!!!!. Although this book has an element of time travel, Laura E. Allen Although this book has an element of time travel, it wasn't unbelievable the way some areit was totally believable, especially the way the world works today. In fact, Nigel made me think of one of our current presidential candidates that shall remain nameless in the interest of not starting a political cuss-fest on Amazon. I couldn't put it down.. An extraordinary book Angloscand A future world that could become a nightmare if allowed to happen. Consequences of small adjustments, lies and half truths. This is a book that is irresistible to read. The characters are well developed and the plot twists and turns with every page. The near future in the book is not so unrealistic as to be unbelievable but the solution is a work of imagination by the author that keeps you on your toes to keep hold of all the threads. Well worth the five stars
