Cute but curt The photographs in this book are lovely -- a great array of 19th-century children's portraits which reflect a variety of moods and attitudes. The drawback of the book is that it lacks any information on the photographs which might place them in a particular year or might comment on the children's outfits!! In other words, it's left wholly up to the viewer (not reader) to interpret the pictures! Thus while the book is truly nice for its collection of photographs, it's quite useless for someone who wants to feed his/her mind with a bit of information.. Anna Grace said Loved it.
