"unreadable russian font" according to Frank C. Revelo. The publisher boasts that this book was specially designed for kindle. Unfortunately, the Russian font is very small and cannot be increased on size on a Kindle Paperwhite, for some reason. I returned for a refund. What is the problem with all these incompetent publishers who can't format for Kindle properly? Kindle DOES handle Russian characters, after all. I've proved this by ebooks I make for my own use, by simply converting from HTML to MOBI format using Calibre. Also, the Russian phrasebook for touri. it's good if you don't live in Russia D. J. This book might be good for travelers but I am learning Russian and past this stage of the book.I would think it would be good for tourists
