Jennifer DeWitt is determined to meet her destiny head-on in New Orleans—that humid, high-stepping city of music and magic on the Mississippi River. Adrien Merrill determines to have her as chatelaine on his secluded backcountry plantation, lover in his bed, and mistress of his life and more—until he learns the line between lust and love is as whisper thin as a fine silk thread. . A woman once scorned. A man ruled by pride
Count the Roses is another Winner! I am a huge fan of Jackie Weger's books, so I was excited to dive into her newest, Count the Rosesand then I couldn't stop reading until I finished.I've been to New Orleans, but never having visited the bayou country, I was enchanted with the descriptions of the locale and the people who inhabit this interesting area. Count the Roses Allie Jackie, you have hit the nail on the head with this book. Love the characters, the story, the location. (Iâ¤ï¸ÂLA!) But most of all, I love your bio! Never read one quiet like yours. A little sad, but like Jennifer, you're a strong woman.
