I am not a person who reads horror novels or watches horror films but I was gifted a paperback copy of CUPID by the author himself and thought I should give it a read. Let me start off by saying I really enjoyed reading this book. For it being the authors first Indie publication, I believe he did a very good job telling us the story of Cupid but with a dark twist. When I first started reading I thought it flowed very well until other characters were introduced. There was a bit of confusion as to who they were and what their roles in the story would be but as I kept . ruby barrera said awesomely creepy. I was lucky to have this book given to me by the authori absolutely loved it ot put me in the mind of some of the old Stephen King movies I love and the thought of cupid being the bad guy well I was skeptical bit I have to say I couldn't pit it down I had to find out what was going to happen next I was on the edge of my seat almost the whole book just a little confusing in the beginning but it all comes together and WOW I would recommend this book to any horror fans!!!. Is Cupid behind me? O my gosh. I took a chance on reading this book. I am not a horror fan but the description drew me in. Yes I was a fool and read this at night(never again). I would catch myself looking over my shoulder to make sure no one was behind me. I love how King put the mythology aspect in it and now has me a fan for life. If you are looking for a quick and suspenseful read look no further!
