Quick but utterly captivating story!! Can be read as a stand alone. However, I suggest reading Book 1 "Love's Fury", (Konal the Red and Silvia's story), as well.Roald Blood Axe, is a fierce warrior, the eldest son, and will be the new Laird upon his father's death. Really Good Wow, I have to say Raold & Eva's story was truly a wonderful tale. This is book two in the series and it was just a good as the first one. This is the story of Konal 's brother, Roald. He is now Jarl. Konal was the heroe from book 1.Eventhough, this though this story was short in length it did not feel like it was short. It flowed exceptionally well. There was never a lull in the story So kudos to this author. I have read some of her Highlander stories, but the Viking stories draw me in so much more so, than the others.. "What a wonderful story of 2 different people with different beliefs" according to Sarah Fisher. What a wonderful story of 2 different people with different beliefs. I love vikings so the story of Roald and Eva didn't disappoint me at all. Read it right through, it kept my interest. Very heartwarming. As always Violetta's books make you feel like you are right there with the characters!!
