One more integrel part Michelle Elizabeth and Kane jump through time and find themselves in ancient Rome. The bad part is that it is the middle of a war. There love is really tested. They both take a beating during this adventure. Kane is accused of murder. The evidence is so overwhelming that even Elizabeth has to question it. So the adventure for this book is to find who the murderer is and prove Kane is not the killer all while keeping Elizabeth safe. Keeping her safe proves to be harder than you would think. Once again they make friends, especially Elizabeth. She . "The hero being continuously injured grated on my nerves" according to LEMB. I read the first book in this series and while it had more sex than I like (yes, I was warned, lol), my attention was drawn in with the first few pages by their immediate emotional connection. The continuous injuring of the hero really grated on my nerves, especially hurting the same shoulder over and over. Plus the evil people in charge 'back home'. The hopelessness of the situation weighed me down and the couple settling in to their temporary 'time' and then abruptly leaving left me feeling let down and scattered. I was hoping they wo. Awesome If you like time romances you'll love this series. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 finished and you won't be disappointed! Twists and turns plus a bit of history thrown in. A must read for fans of time travel romances.
