For those who want to understand the nuances of the Sovereignty of God G. Baker Olson's view of God's sovereignty hinges on the character of God. He goes into great detail on how God cannot be the architect of evil and still be a good God. Based on this argument, Olson seeks to show the Calvinistic view of God is wrong and demeans the God of the Bible. Olson is very smart and articulate. He fashions an elaborate argument based on his best thinking and understanding of scripture. I found his repetition tedious, but stayed with it to the end.
