Amazon Customer said Five Stars. Exactly as described. "Magic hear" according to Zeno. Bravo to Naxos for recording these tales in their original, unvarnished form. Admittedly dark at times, but, then again, so is life-- no matter how much we try to sugarcoat, better to prepare our kids what lies ahead with the help of magical examples and traditional folktales. I got this "Plain stories, fast reading" according to Old-and-Wise. I got this 2CD set as well as the Andersen's tales one. The latter is so much better: better stories, better reading. If you only need one fairy tales CD, get the Andersen's set, also from the same publisher. See my review there.. CD set as well as the Andersen's tales one. Then the third son offered to keep watch; but the gardener at first would not let him, for fear some harm should come to him: however, at last he consented, and the young man laid himself under the tree to watch. A certain king had a beautiful garden, and in the garden stood a tree which bore golden apples. Then the second son was ordered to watch; and at midnight he too fell asleep, and in the morning another apple was gone
