I am so happy with the results from using this book to teach my 3 grader how to organize and write short stories and personal narratives. His writing has come a long so well and he enjoys using his imagination now that he has been taught the tools he need to put it all together in writing on paper! This book has served as an excellent homeschool resource for our private homeschool.. grader how to organize and write short stories and personal narratives. This book has served as an excellent homeschool resource for our private homeschool.. "Not worth the money. Pass." according to Anne from Baltimore. Pass on this one. After looking at a lot of writing resources for this age group, I really don't like this one. It doesn't give a lot of step by step of how to teach "how to write a story". There's really just a lot of blank worksheets that say pretty much the same thing. Beginning? Middle? End? So, I'd look for a more helpful resource.
