Michael Kennedy said A good reference book.. This is a good reference book. I don't think it's much beyond that since you'll have to look elsewhere for the actual music. You do get the words and chords for the songs.. "great little folkin' book" according to Jeff A. Mann. this is very good book to have around for players of all levels, provides chord charts and lyrics to a ton of popular folk songs. It is small in size , perfect for travelin'. My only complaint is the book is hard to keep open and play a guitar at the same timewish it was bound another way. S. Beach said no lead lines. This is just chords and lyrics. If you know the songs it is fine, but if you are unfamiliar with a tune then it won't help you.
