That probably sounds religious and boring. Open the cover, however, and that view may change. The layout is clean and graphic, with large, white borders. There are brief, pithy, thought-provoking quotes from everyone from Pascal to Elisabeth Elliot to Henri Nouwen. On the opposite page is a one paragraph punch, often ending with a question instead of an answer, that sounds like a pep talk from a coach.And that's the b. There's a reason this is called "One Minute Bible FOR STARTERS" (emphasis added).That said, I see many uses for this book (see below). In short, I have nothing but positive things to say about this. It has not only aided my past students in their spiritual growth, it has done the same for my own spiritual growth.
