Tasting the Life in Provençe C. Gottlieb We vacation in the Fall in Forcalquier and we pass through Céreste! and I had no idea about this book and their ice cream business! I would have been 1st in line! or maybe they are shut in the Fall after hectic Summer? This area of Provençe is so beautiful and the people so nice. Every place the author mentions in her book for fresh produce, cheeses, olive oil, lavender, we have been there. So I had a particular attraction to everything she wrote as I was living all her words. The story is quite humorous and I found her writing style enjoyable with many chuckles. It i. When I advanced the page and realized I'd finished the book I was completely surprised -- it was that abrupt. The narrative is charmingly observational, compelling, and amusing.
