This is a great intro book to raw food, and I can definitely see how it would benefit people, especially because of the intro and history of it all. So many benefits that I learned about such as boosting brain power and fighting . "Something for everyone" according to June Barnwell. Whether you are a raw foodie or just want to get more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet, this book has something for everyone. The salads were awesome, and it was refreshing to see that there were no dessert recipes, just lots of light, healthy food that is delicious. Great for a newbie or someone looking for something a little different. Recommended.
