Proud To Be Turtle Clan said had to have it for my field work. I ran across this little & thin book of much information when I searched the web for "green minerals". I had found them in my unconsolidated soils and after checking my mineralogy text book wanted to do some cross-comparing. An excerpt came up and I read it, and then I knew that I had to have the whole thing. Its a. Ken Walker said a very good series. If you collect sedimentary rocks, you want to take this bookinto the field with you. It is written exactly for this purpose. It is very well written, very well illustrated, very well worth it.. Adam said Must have for students.. This book is the perfect guide for field work when partaking in the study of rocks that are sedimentary. Chris Tucker is a great author and he defiantly knows a lot about sedimentary Chris Rock.
“All in all, this is a fine and improved field guide for the geoscientist, befitting a fourth edition.” (Environmental & Engineering Geoscience, 4 November 2012)
