Short Vowel Readers These are books that go along with the "Learning Language Arts Through Literature" book series for 1st grade. They are an excellent practice in reading. They are simple short stories with a Word Wall in the back of each book. We learn thesethen read the book. Good learning tool and the pictures are a nice practice coloring. We get to do a little art work that way alsoteaching control and technique. The kids are very proud of contributing to the art and making the book more appealing.
