Story set in my hometown This is my first Diane Chamberlain book, which I chose entirely because of its setting, New Jersey and the Jersey shore. I grew up in Plainfield and just discovered that her sister was a classmate of mine from elementary school through high school. Naturally this provided additional interest for me. The book was wonderful and I could not put it down. The characters were all developed with great skill and each appeared very human. Reading their stories and how the e.
