I enjoy Juliet Blackwell's cozy mysteries but this was much more Spiritcat I devoured this book in 2 days because I was so wrapped up in the story. I enjoy Juliet Blackwell's cozy mysteries but this was much more than that. It was a portrait of two women and, of course, Paris. It has intrigue, mystery, adventure and a look into the past and how it affects the future. The mystery of locks, abandon mansions and Paris underground tunnels will keep you interested as well as the unfolding of the stories of Geneviev. A story unlocked in the city of Paris An intriguing juxtaposition of two stories, a daughter and a mother, both of whom find the pivotal circumstances of their lives intricately woven into the confines of Paris, its above-ground existence and that of its underground passages. The story of Genevieve, a young woman from California, whose life has been defined by her locksmith uncle, and her sojourn in Paris which defines both her present circumstances, intertwined with those .
