Perhaps the best work on Dante, Mallarme, Joyce and Silence A Customer Slote has ably produced a book filled with both word and pages, a book which, despite the length of its title, is truly finite. A work which will definitely, and without a doubt, be considered part of Slote's ouvre. This book is, rest assured, a work of criticism in the classical sense (i.e. an analysis of texts).
