Extremely elementary If you have had no experience in education or training, then this book can provide a simple overview (as the title implies). However, this book isn't entirely up-to-date in its compare/contrast of training & education, the differences in pedagogy & andragogy, and best practice for learning. Don't expect fresh ideas for keeping trainees. Great Book The Trainer Basics book has many wonderful ideas for the busy trainer. I especially like how it is arranged for easy use.
