Pearce continues to live in Costa Rica with frequent visits to the U.S. . Pearce is a favorite among aviators and is often invited to speak at events which focus on aviation and space exploration history. He spent his teen years growing up in Detroit, Michigan. Not content to sit still, Perce built a ten home development in Costa Rica which he manages today. to visit family and friends and to attend any number of reunions held for the American Fighter Aces Association
