Melissa said The first half is not nearly as good as the last but what a last half.. Jade Lee’s as Rich as a Rogue is a rather difficult novel to rate. There are some portions of this book I really liked, in fact the last half of the book is quite enjoyable. The first half is a bit uneven and the heroine is not likable until the middle portion of the book.Mari Powell has for years tried to live a life in exact opposite of her moniker, The Wayward Welsh. She has worn beige gowns, made sure she did not laugh too loudly or enjoy herself too much. Her father is rich as Croesus and she worries about being taken advantage by a fortune hun.
