I hate being manipulated into purchasing over priced books and that's Debmcc I agree with book geek that this was a filler book. Amazon has gotten really greedy and gives us less book for more money all the time. I feel that 3 of the books today would have been one book previously, but then we wouldn't be paying 7.99 per installment. I'm beginning to look at other options rather than buying the books here. I hate being manipulated into purchasing over priced book. Ok for a Filler Book. I love the Chicagoland Vampire series. It's one of my favorites. As a long-standing fan this series has pulled me through the ringer. I have gone through a JOURNEY with Merit. I was there when she became a vampire. I've fallen in love, mourned, and healed with Merit and that is why I find books like BITING BAD to be so heartbreaking. Because this is a filler book and in my opinion filler. MONEY PENNY!!!! Two words. Money Penny. Merit has been busy people. Busy, I tell ya!
