Not a typical textbook I am a bridge engineer, and I was in the market for some textbooks that I could use for references at work. I purchased this book and a few others. It is a comprehensive text covering a broad range of topics related to bridge engineering, far more than your typical textbook. However, it really just s. "I can see four shooting stars" according to A Customer. This book is interesting and factual. You learn so much about bridges including how they work. If you're only going to buy 1 book this summer make it this one.. "Very fun to read" according to A Customer. As a structural engineering student, I found this book very fun to read. That is different from all the books I have read about bridge engineering.
