DESCRIPTION:

It emphasizes the importance of context to the application of legal principles and discusses the overlap between the knowledge and skills of a litigator and those of a transactional attorney.. This text blends classic common law contract cases with 21st-century opinions and draws upon the problem method of instruction. It compares and contrasts the common law of contracts, the Restatement of the Law SecondContracts, and Uniform Commercial Code Article 2 rules, as well as the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts, and explores their evolution and application

Good casebook but HUNDREDS of typos! This was a great introduction to contract law, but there were literally hundreds - maybe even a thousand - of typographical errors: Words spelled incorrectly (even basic words like "plaintiff") or inconsistently (like parties' actual names), words left out of quotations, spacing errors, punctuation errors, indention errors, etc., etc. The number of errors was so large that it became extremely distracting at times and really took away from the c. Great, Easy-to-Read Textbook SW This is a great Contracts I and II textbook. It has a good selection of cases (of course some are lengthy and a tad complex since they are business related), but most of all the text explanations can be very easy to read and straightforward. In particular, the chapter on Good Faith (which is a very complex topic) was straightforward in that up front a list of general rules extracted from the following cases was provided. Additionally, some chap. It's a Contracts Book. J. Westen Excellent shape, better than advertised. Absolutely no internal writing, bent pages, busted spine. Shipping time was fine, and price was excellent, considering this is a book that goes for $140 brand new (which was basically the condition I received it in) at your local Law School book store.Material: well It's a text book about contracts. Nothing too exciting in here.
