"Great Book for Design Ideas" according to Sunny Skies. I picked up this book because my Mom's backyard needs an update. Lots of sloping and dips in her yard. Trying to decide out of pavers, flagstone, concrete or wood decking was a challenge because all of them can be beautiful. This book had lots of great pictures with clear details. There was some helpful information, but a lot of it was basic and common sense stuff. It's a great book for helping you find what you do and don't like. Of course the challenge is that it can also give you ideas that may complicate the decision-making process. It would have been helpful if n. Nice pics, but not very useful I got this so I could get ideas for a deck and patio that I was having installed this summer. I did not find this particular book very helpful, but others might. I did better by going to the masonry places and the deck places and just getting ideas from different contractors.
