I was told about this by a friend that is a teacher and she keeps a copy of it in her 1st grade room for when a child comes in that is dealing with the loos of a dog. My nephew loved it and made him feel much more relaxed that his puppy was somewhere happy and looking after him. My friend said that her students react the same way to this book.
