"Pretty Good First Effort" according to Amazon Customer. This is a Gen 1 book series and DVD. And looks and feels like it. The first book tries to cover the MRCS syllabus and on the whole is reasonable. But there are better options to this edition - I think that the kinks will be sorted in a second edition.The second book (clinical examinations) and DVD 2 are worth the price of admission though - the exam techniques provided are didactic and robust in comparison to both OSCEs in Surgery book and Parchment-Smith's MRCS book. The DVD is excellent and provides a bullet-proof exam technique to get through - and in a way that I think is much clearer
