I felt a strong connection with Anna, Derek, and Don. I do think Derek was kind of a jerk, well actually he was a jerk the entire book and I know that was by design from the author. Even though he was a jerk, I loved the very descriptive scenes and storyline. I cant wait to read what happens next. If you like taboo, you will love this book.. ELP said This is not a sweet love story. This story has a ton of dark, hot sexual energy. The relationship between Anna and Derek is definitely taboo and forbidden, and the addition of Don, Derek's friend, just adds to the illicit nature. This is not a sweet love story, but one that is highly erotic and a bit on the harsh side. If that is the dynamic you are looking for, this book is for you.
