"Every House needs a Balcony" according to Kate Emery. This is absolutely the worst translation I've ever tried to read. I only read beyond the first few pages to see if it would get any better. It didn't. This may be a very interesting book, but it was so poorly translated, that I, for one, will never know. I gave it 1 star because something about the cover made me buy it.. A waste of time Gold This is one of the worst books I've read in a long time. I would've quit reading it (as many others did) but I was reading it for a book club and felt obligated to finish it.It's hard to either like any of the main characters in the book, care about them or sympathize with them.. penelope said A good relaxing easy read. Interesting storyline keeping the intrigue in the story of the characters.. Interesting storyline keeping the intrigue and mystery of the characters in the story. Unusual circumstances and definately held the interest and well worth the read.
