The field of Metrology has changed substantially and this text has not been revised accordingly. The questions and answer choices that follow each chapter are ambiguous in nature and need to reflect current iss. "Great book for dimensional calibration technicians" according to Joe Cebulski. This book would be useful to any machinist, but it is specifically written for the dimensional calibration technician, a wealth of practical, useful information. Thanks.. Dated While this book is dated and not up to date with current thinking and knowledge it is a good reference for people like me who have no formal training in this area and would like to have a desk reference for those occasions when issues come up. I am not an expert in this area and no one expects me to be so this book at the right price fits my needs.
