Excellent book Robert Lang I have read well over 15 books in the last year on the history of Harley Davidson. This book in particular broke the mold in comparision to the others because the author went over and above the call of duty in his research. Rather than simply recite the corporate timeline and Harley's non-asscociation with outlaw biker gangs, Wright chos. Harley History I bought this particular book because the author Mr. Wright wrote it with out any difficulties from the Harley-Davidson people.Therefor it is the straight skinny without any glossing over as usual. It explains in the front how this happens, and then goes on to give a very nice historical summation of 100 years of bike building. If you hav. Book review A good book on the history of Harley Davidson.Wright starts with "I liked Harley Davidson better when the company was on it's a**", me too.Interesting chapters on uniforms and dealers.Jessie, David's dog, may had literary aspirations if she had the opportunity of college.
