DESCRIPTION:
Ken Farmer has gone on his own to write a sequel to the very popular western saga of Bass Reeves called Hell Hole. This will be a ride you won't forget as he tries his talents as a "Lone Writer".
US Deputy Marshals, under Judge Issac Parker, The Hanging Judge, patrol the Indian Nations--the most dangerous place in the world in the late 19th century. Bass Reeves and his partner, Jack McGann, are tasked to bring in the Griffin gang and clean out the cesspool of outlaws at a town known as Catoosa, the Hell Hole. Bass Reeves is back! If you're a fan of L'Amour, Kelton, Burroughs and Grey, you'll love HELL HOLE - the third novel in the best selling and award winning Bass Reeves saga in The Nations. Judge Parker wants "that bunch of societal paragons of miscreants and malefactors that are gathered there eliminated" and doesn't care how Bass and his men do it. "Some call me one thing and some call me anotherBut mostly they call me Bass Reeves and this just ain't yer day, son." They team up with Jack's godson, Texas Ranger Bodie Hickman

A wonderful series of westerns. Leba Hoenig I read every one of these great westerns. I like the larger than life hero, Bass Reeves. It is hard to believe that this was a real deputy Marshal. TV should have a series about him. O'Reilly devoted one program about Reeves. There would be more.. Great addition to the Bass Reeves Story! Action, passion, dastardly bad guys, upright lawmen a surprising historical fact and a smidgen of the supernatural. Another great addition to the Bass Reeves story. Now onto "Across the Red".
