Simply Wonderful Britt Halaas This is an incredible story which uncovers a history most don't talk about. The writing is exactly what I look for in a book. It's just fantastic all the way around! The story is compelling, the characters are well developed and complex, the feel of the book is wonderful. I can't wait to read more from Ryter Rong!. Great story If you like a good historical fiction novel, then this is the book for you. Great story!. "Enchating, magical tale in time of slavery!" according to Mercedes Keyes. I had the privilege of creating the book cover for this wonderful fact-fiction work of literary art. As some may know, I am an author of historicals as well, primarily interracial. I love history - and historical novels written about past facts specially. Ryter Rong has a voice and a way of telling the story that puts you right with the characters. Genocide has been done to so many nations. Th

She was taken to be a young slave during a great Irish genocide. Across the way she meets and befriends a young boy—Zxander. Join her on this first saga release for an unforgettable adventure in the life of eleven- year-old Talisyn O’Reilly. The small fiery redhead ended up in Barbados. There she was able to slip free from her captors to stow away on a ship she thought would take her to freedom only to discover that it was a cargo ship of more slaves…this time…African slaves. Pen to paper, Ryter Rong is a breath of fresh air doing what few are willing to do: write fact-fiction filled with historical truths of love and drama for a people that now finally (because of her) have a voice. Ryter Rong—her name symbolizes controversy. The question is: Will they be able to escape before that day comes?. They are bought by the same owner who intends to breed them for a unique livestock once they are of age
