Dianne H. Lavelle said A bit too wordy. This was a required textbook and we had to read every chapter. I think the whole book could easily be cut down to 50% of the words and still convey the same material.. Nurse / Doctor said Fab!. This is the best book I have ran across when it comes to nursing leadership and management. I am finishing my doctorate in management and organizational leadership and used this book to understand and relate to every aspect of leadership and management at the doctoral level. This book is marked up, dog eared, and worn out, but I still used it for every class.This book is from "Fab!" according to Nurse / Doctor.
