"Easy Grammar" according to Amanda Hanley. This book made learning the rules of grammar a while lot easier than other books that I have looked at. I used it for my English 110.01 course, and now I handed it off to someone else that is using it to help them study for their G.E.D. test! It is easy to read, and I love the editing exercises! It gives you practical application of the rules within the book, and it explains WHY!!. Older edition of a new textbook with a few tweaks. This is an older edition of a newer textbook required by a class my younger brother is taking (so i'm showing him the ways of not spending hundreds on textbooks ^.^). So far he's told me that this edition is pretty much the same as the newer edition, even paragraph by paragraph; the only df being that the end exercises are df from the newer edition. That's the way"they" get you, they change ONE little thing, and suddenly it's a new edition that's $200. So I'm sure you can find another classmate or scan the exercises from the textbook in the school library and be fine.. I only bought it for class. We really didn't even use this book. For the most part, it seemed okay from the very little topics we used it for.
