DESCRIPTION:
The best yet in the series!!! I love all the Katie Maguire stories. one is always better than the previous one. this author has a way with the development of his characters that makes you love some and hate some.this story had two plots that ended up being connected. but the story did not end th. Katie Maguire is great character T. Oksanen I've now finished the whole serie. Katie Maguire is great and that's the only reason why I was able to read the serie to the end. I always wanted to know what happends to her next! What i didn't like is the over the top Graphic violence. Many times I wanted to skip . "Going downhill" according to Dnk. Okay, I admit that the first few Katie Maguire books were excellent. I looked forward to each new installment. However, the last few have tempered my enthusiasm quite a bit. Katie Maguire is turning into quite a one-dimensional character, as is her supporting cast.
As Katie investigates, she realizes that the two cases might be connected. And the only way to find out more is to go in undercover.. S Katie Maguire is at a loss. Last year, she and her team destroyed the biggest drug trafficker in Cork. So how is the city's drug trade at an all-time high? Meanwhile, a spate of violent attacks which leave victims severely disabled has brought confidence in the Garda to an all-time low. Someone is using brain-damaged victims to smuggle drugs into the country
"Horrormeister Masterton is also a first-class crime novelist Written with style and boasting a story that won’t let you stop reading and characters who refuse to be held hostage by the plot, the novel is first-class thriller with some juicy horror touches. Mystery readers who don’t know the Maguire novels should change that right now." —David Pitt, Booklist starred review
