Great little book for expanding your groove vocabulary David J. Wing I was just browsing drum transcription books when this little pocket (literally) book caught my eye. It was only $4.95 so I bought it, not really having any idea what it was. It turns out that it is full of one bar beats and grooves, *not* starting with your standard basic-basic rock beats. So I find it a great source of new beat/groove ideas, which just happens to be what I need right now.
A comprehensive 96-page, pocket/case sized perfect-bound book of one-hundred thirty-eight all time favorite drum "grooves". This book is perfect for daily practice or for teaching the drummer to play "in-the-pocket".
