"A Delightful Read" according to Judy Nickles/Gwyneth Greer. In a word--delightful! I enjoyed every page of twists and turns in this fascinating twenties-era mystery, and I'll be purchasing Book 2 as soon as it is out. Posie Parker is quite the sleuth. I love the way her mind works and her brash way of plunging head-first into situations which might--and sometimes do--turn out badly. The "legend" of the Maharajah diamond is the kind. Shirley Y. The plot was fresh and the characters were all characters; zany, over- the -top, theatrical and appealing.I would have rated the book four stars except that I was a little distracted from time to time.
