DESCRIPTION:
A book for after the test- This is a good kindle purchase -the book gives you information on what to do after you pass the ham radio test-it covers hand held transceivers as well as base models and it also covers the different types of antennas-clubs and repeaters etc-. Much better than the dummy book. Good read. Good resources. I like that the author spoke about complex things with simple language. Hope to hear him on the air. 73's. "Great book for beginners." according to Angry Monk.. I'm new to this ham stuff and after pouring over a bunch of books on the topic I found them way less than useful. Even the idiots guide was crap! This book takes you through all you need to know as a beginner, believe m I am as beginner as you can get. This guy clears up all the crap. GREAT BOOK!!!
This document is inspired by every ham radio operator who obtained their license and then never pushed a PTT because they didn't know what to do next, or who to talk to.You will find help thinking through some of the decisons that you will be faced with as you begin your ham radio adventure.
