Soft but detailed pen, ink, and watercolor illustrations play up the tongue-in-cheek text on every page, as independent Nina takes control of each situation: "At bedtime, she climbed her crib walls like smoke and vanished. Great book for new big sisters teacher mom I saw this book at the library and bought a copy for my niece who just got a new baby brother. She loves the book, and I thought it was a sweet story.. Crazy Fun! David Zeltser has a way with words that will entertain you and your children. Wonderfully playful the story begins with the birth of Baby Ninja (a real Ninja!!!) but is soon enhanced by the appearance of her new baby brother, the Kung Fu Master (Yes, a real Master!!!). Zeltser's witty prose is smartly animated by the delightful watercolor drawings of Diane Goode. Together they tell the story of sibling rivalry that is both in. "Funny and sweet - a great read for kids AND their parents." according to Shopgirl. Funny! Perfect for kids because it's silly and hilarious. And perfect for parents of independent children— you will recognize your little one in some of Ninja Baby's adventures.
