Hits just the right note J.D. My 7 year old has read this aloud to my 4 year old--and both declare it "the cutest story EVER." They seem drawn to the simple, rich illustrations and the message that resonates: you are loved no matter what. This book would make a lovely gift for any child (or parent!).. Sweet Story I recieved this book as a gift to my baby boy who is now 13 months. It is his favorite book and I read it to him at least 3 times a night. Wonderful Story of Unconditional Love This is a wonderful story of a parent's love for her child. It shows children that their parents love them no matter what they do. Read it aloud to your kids especially after a trying time so they remember you still love them! I also love the illustrations in this book. They really show the expressions of the elephants love.
