Thinking that we have no plans to go to London in the near future, I dismissed it at first, and then came back around and bought it. Well I'm glad that I did because this is one fun read. And whilst it really does work as a travel guide for new and ol. Wonderful Introduction to London for the Young Ones Juanita I bought this for my grandchildren (ages 3, 6 and 8) who will be accompanying us to London in the future. Our son has read the guide book to the kids, and they love it. It heightened their interest in visiting London.. informative and easy to follow. was in London this summer and now have a lovely book to recall the journey sue bently the book was adorable. the pictures of Paddington and his tour of the city made a wonderful guide of what to see.

In 1997 he was awarded the OBE for his services to children's literature. On Christmas Eve, 1956, Michael Bond bought a small toy bear for his wife and they named it 'Paddington' as they were living near Paddington station. .
